RTT: I don't know...

Lemme go ahead and just start of the random with a bunch of bullets...you know how much I love those!
  •  Got a new post over at "I'm Pregnant...Now What?". Read it and leave me some advice!
  • J and I did some thinking and since he was told by the recruiter he can't go active right now, we are just going to stick it out here in Huntsville/Madison until after the baby comes. No sense in switching doctors and cities right before my due date. So we're stuck in this two bedroom apartment. I think we're going to be able to make it work though. As long as we're not still here when the baby starts crawling! We seriously need a room for just our sharp pointy furniture! LOL.
  • We got a new washer and dryer! I'm in love...mainly with the color, but also with the fact that they are both quiet and I can wash more at one time. Plus, hello! Energy efficient! I hate that we couldn't get the pedestals because of the shelves, but the guy at Lowe's said if we move somewhere that we will have the room for them, they will come out and install them for us! Sweet! It sucks having to get into the floor to do laundry. Especially when you're pregnant!

I finished my American Literature research paper in one day! Only took me five hours!
    • I'm really frustrated right now, because I can't get the stupid bullets to work right anymore, so I'm not going to even write anymore...so there! Stupid blogger.
That is all the random I can handle today. I'm about to throw this laptop. Go see if Stacy is having a better day at Stacy Uncorked, and link up with the randomness!

RTT: 20 Weeks, Midterms Finally Over, Spring Break!

I am so happy that midterms are finally over. I can enjoy spring break now, even though I didn't do so well on my calculus midterm (only made a 75...) and then I bombed a psychology test that I wasn't ready for. The last two weeks were just PACKED with schoolwork. It's so stressful to think about, I don't even feel like recapping it for y'all.

We went to the doctor Friday and got to watch our "little acorn" grooving! I posted a video on my other blog. (If you think you can tell the gender from the video, please don't tell me! :) We want it to be a surprise!)

It's spring break! And of course, we aren't going anywhere because J has to work. And get this...my science professor assigned homework that is due tomorrow! Guess who isn't going to do it...

This is all the random I can muster right now. I need to go clean something. I'm having some kind of nesting thing...

Hope everyone has a great Random Tuesday! Don't forget to link up over at Stacy Uncorked!

 Stacy

P.S. J's conditional release paperwork has been signed and is being processed! We're going active! I'm excited and nervous all at the same time! I really dread packing. Boo!

Rewind 365

Well, I actually remembered the Rewind 365 meme this week! Someone should be proud of me. I don't even know today's date. I already explained the rules for this meme and if you want to know more, check out Cammo Style Love.

One year ago today, I was:
Who knows!? I can't find anything on Facebook or my blog that says what I was doing...
I did change my profile pic on FB to this pic of Bina:
That's all I've got. LOL.

Link up!

Rewind 365

Found a new meme that looks like fun, but I probably won't remember to do it each week. It happens on Thursdays over at Cammo Style Love, hosted by Rheanna.

Rules are as follows:
Create a post with a picture, memory or even an old blog post from one year ago and make sure you include the Rewind 365 button so more people will join in the meme each week!
Tweet about your blog post.
Link your post on the linky at Cammo Style Love.

One year ago today, was Valentine's Day 2012 and I was:
expecting to spend Valentine's Day alone, but my awesome sister and her babies came to see me in Anniston so I wouldn't be all by my lonesome! :)
Boog played Mario while Boo-Boo napped and Boopsie played in the floor.
She was so little then!
(J was in Savannah for some kind of Army thing, so we had celebrated V-Day the weekend before with a trip to Maggie Valley, NC.)

So that's what  I was doing a year ago. Pretty boring. LOL. I only have a pic of Boog playing Mario:

 He was three!

RTT: Not enough time!

I haven't had a good rant in quite awhile, so I thought I'd step up on the soap-box and complain a little.
We can call this the Random Tuesday Thoughts that I didn't have until Wednesday...

  • I should be working on my History Midterm that is due Friday, but I don't feel like writing a 3-5 page essay today. I worked 8-9 hours straight yesterday on four short essays for my history midterm. WTH? Why does this professor assign so much work? I've been asking that from day one.
  • Not only do I have a history midterm due Friday, I have a math (in-class) midterm tomorrow at 6. Which means I only have today and tomorrow to study for the exam. Also, I have to drive two hours to my sister's house to study with her and then we have to drive at least 45 minutes to the campus. Furthermore, we have never been to the GSB at the Shelby Campus, so we have no idea where we'll be taking the exam. Hopefully our professor is just as nice as our professor from last semester. *fingers crossed*
  • I turned in an essay for English that was due the 7th a few days early. That was nerve-racking trying to get it done before the weekend so we could go to Talladega (we did go!).
  • Thankfully, my English teacher doesn't have anything assigned until the end of the month. I am so grateful for that.
  • My psychology professor obviously thinks that we don't have enough work to do, so he has assigned discussions now. He thinks we don't have enough interactions. It was fine with me! I didn't want to have to interact with another class. Isn't two interactions with two other classes enough?
  • Want to know what the next couple of weeks consists of for me? I'm gonna tell you anyway!
  • Tomorrow is the math midterm @ 6pm.
  • History midterm is due Friday @ 11:59 pm.
  • Jeremy has drill this weekend, so I will at least have all of my attention on schoolwork.
  • Chapter 8 Quiz in History opens up on Sunday, which means I have to have my study guide completed before Monday, so I can take the quiz on Tuesday; it's due at 11:59 pm on Tuesday.
  • I have another Psychology paper due on the 17th (just turned in the last one on the 4th).
  • Discussion Week 9 opens in History and is due on Friday the 19th.
  • Chapter 9 Quiz in History opens on the 21st, which means another study guide to complete.
  • Also, all next week, I have to work on Assignment 4 in Math which is due by 5pm on the 23rd for the extra bonus points.
  • Chapter 9 Quiz in History is due @ 23:59 on the 23rd.
  • Psychology Exam on Chapters 3 and 5 opens on my birthday, the 24th and closes on the 25th.
  • Discussion Week 10 opens on the 24th in History.
  • I have to respond to the discussion forum in English by 11:55 pm on the 24th.
Ridiculous, huh? It's never-ending! I never feel like I have enough time. When am I supposed to have fun?? Tell me that?! UGH!
*Stepping off of soap-box now*
I hope everyone had a great weekend and I hope everyone is enjoying this nice weather we've been having lately! It's awesome!
Be sure to link up with Stacy at Stacy Uncorked for Random Tuesday Thoughts. I didn't have a chance yesterday, so I'm just now doing it. Oh well! Not enough time in the day!

30 Day Challenge

My BFF over at The Burch Family Tree is doing one of those 30 day challenges. I thought, "the more the merrier" so I decided to do one of my own. I have had this list in my drafts since January of this year and it's about time I finally finish it. I know it's not the first of the month, but who cares.

The challenge Run-down:

Day 03 – A picture of the cast from your favorite show.
Day 04 – A picture of your night.
Day 05 – A picture of your favorite memory.
Day 06 – A picture of a person you’d love to trade places with for a day.
Day 07 – A picture of your most treasured item.
Day 08 – A picture that makes you laugh.
Day 09 – A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most.

Day 11 – A picture of something you hate.
Day 12 – A picture of something you love.
Day 13 – A picture of your favorite band or artist.
Day 14 – A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without.
Day 15 – A picture of something you want to do before you die.
Day 16 – A picture of someone who inspires you.
Day 17 – A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently.
Day 18 – A picture of your biggest insecurity.
Day 19 – A picture of you when you were little.
Day 20 – A picture of somewhere you’d love to travel.

25 October 2011

RTT: I can't believe I'm 26!

It's been awhile since I've done an RTT. I hope I've been missed!
Let's make this introduction short and sweet; Stacy is still the host of Random Tuesday Thoughts. Check out her blog at Stacy Uncorked.
I can't believe it's almost Halloween. Isn't it still August!? Haha. Well, anyway, yesterday was my birthday. I'm twenty-six! At least I'm still 9 months younger than J! :P
I just finished making the treat bags for the trick-or-treaters. I put in two Dum-Dums, a pack of three crayons, a Halloween pencil, two bracelets, two spider rings, a pair of plastic fangs, two peanut-butter Mary Janes, One mini Almond Joy/Payday, one Reese cup mini and around five pieces of mixed candy (gum, jawbreakers, suckers, sweettarts, Warheads, lemon drops, taffy, etc.). I made 23 bags, b/c I ran out of candy. :( I hope that we don't have any more kids than that. I think we'll have to go get more candy anyway.
Mama, Amanda and the babies came by to see my yesterday. They woke me up by banging on my bedroom window. Scared me to death, but it was worth it. :) They pitched in together and bought me all three of the Twilight movies on DVD and Mama made me a cake. :)
J and I went to Douglasville to eat dinner and then shop some. We got a bunch of stuff at Party City and some stuff for the fur-babies. And some crazy good deals at Ross! I'll take pics later when I post the pics of the Halloween decorations.
Unfortunately, I woke up this morning with a sore throat and stuffy nose. I feel pretty awful, but still have a million loads of laundry to wash, dry, fold and put away {lots of smokey camping stuff}. I'm gonna end here. Hope everyone has a great week and Happy Halloween! :)

Dear So and So...

I saw this meme on a blog that I read regularly, as it is sent to my email whenever the author posts. {I love that.}
There are lots of letters I would love to write everyday and this looks like the best way to get my point across to all those inanimate objects that I interact with on a day-to-day basis.
Apparently, this meme is posted on Fridays, but I may do them on Thursday.
Check out this cute blog and link up if you want to participate in Dear So and So!
Dear So and So...

Dear Meagan,
Thank you so much for this sweet kitty. We love him so much! I'm sorry you couldn't keep him because {L} was a little rough on him. I'm sure she'll be ready for a small pet soon. Maybe a puppy? They seem to be a lot more durable. haha. I'm glad I got to see you this week! I was having Meagan's face withdrawals. Let's not wait so long to hang out next time! Mmmk? Love you and I'm sorry I gave you lice that time in Kindergarten.
Love, Whit
------------------------------------------
Dear Tobias,
You are a sweet kitty. But please, stop acting like a little cracked-out, flying-fuzzball. You're scaring the dog. And I love that you want to cuddle, but ALL the time? I can't see the laptop or the tv when you're winding around and around my face with all 3.3 lbs of your orange, furry self.
Sabrina's water bucket is not yours! Stop trying to drink out of it, you're too little. Or not...
Also, the stuff moving on the screen of the laptop is not your play-thing. Stop batting the screen and quit trying to send messages to my friends on Facebook. It's annoying.

I love you anyway. I'm so proud of you for being a big boy and not messing up the bathroom last night.
Love, your new Mama

P.S. I love that little noise you make when you're eating a treat. Sort-of a purring, chewy noise. It's so cute. Keep up the cuteness.
-------------------------------------------
Dear Sabrina,
You're still Mama's baby, even though you have a new baby brother. But please, stop being nice to him when you think I'm not looking and being a butt-head to him when I am looking. It's mean and I know you're a sweetheart. Just be nice to him all the time and I'll give you more treats. MMmk?
This is her hate stare.
Love, Mama
------------------------------------------
Dear Facebook,
Quit trying to change everything. It's fine the way it is. If you're going to change anything, please tell me when the last time someone was online. I hate sending messages to people and have to wait 3 months for a reply because they're never online. Why do you have a Facebook at all? I'm talking to you, husband.
Thanks for all the fun times FB.
--Me
-----------------------------------------
Dear Thyroid,
Please stop acting stupid and making my body freak out. I would like to lose weight and get pregnant. You're ruining my life.
Thanks in advance,
Your Host.

That's all for this week's Dear So and So.
