Must Be Monday

A good way to know it's Monday:

Everything goes wrong...

Or in my case, I've had the worst migraine all day long.

It's absolutely horrible. I can't move without feeling

like my right eyeball is going to explode.

I was supposed to go to my Nana's with my Mama,

but I couldn't get out of bed this morning.

As soon as the sun started coming up,

my head started pounding even worse.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

with squirrels. I don't know why...I just do. They're so cute! And they're hilarious! My husband thinks I'm crazy, but I think since he's been in Afghanistan so long, he'll come to appreciate them when he gets home. (I'm pretty sure they don't have squirrels in A'stan....do they?)

While we were at Nana's today, I took out her old bread like I do every week and hung it on the fence for the birds and squirrels. *of course!*

And I got these super-cute pics...

At one point, there were at least 10 squirrels in the yard at one time! No bird pics though...they were too skittish when I walked onto the stoop. These little boogers are so funny. They were chasing each other across the street, chittering about stolen bread...when the fence was lined with bread yummi-ness. :P

It was a good Monday. :)

MBM: Do the Meteorologists make it up as they go?

I think they do...they've been threatening rain for days now, and I haven't seen any here. I think we're in a drought...

It's been another long Monday. I think St. Francis is having one of those Mondays as well. Mom and I went to Nana's today; Nana had a doctor's appt. She's doing well, but may have an inner-ear infection; new meds were prescribed. It was just a very long day. And so hot too!

I had a blog post all ready in my mind last night, while I was trying to sleep. But now, for the life of me, I can't remember what it was about.

So, I'll leave you with these pictures instead...Hope your Monday was more eventful than mine. I hope it rains...

MBM: Monotonous Monday...

well..you know what we did today...went to Nana's. Also went to Wally World to get her groceries instead of Johnson's since she needed new house phones. I got some purchase pleasure from that and they weren't even my phones! I also got a really cute travel pillow on sale. Because can never have too many pillows. Plus this one is patriotic! :) Here's a pic, (pillow in the middle):

I know it's not Tuesday, but it's never too soon to have a random thought. You know when you're microwaving something and that last minute just seems to take For.ev.er...? Well, there's actually a word for it- microwave minute. Now you can totally use that in a sentence! :)FYI...just to keep from having "microwave minute syndrome", I set the microwave for like 2 minutes over even if I'm only microwaving for 2 or 3 minutes. That way when I think it's warm enough, I can just get whatever it is out with 1+ minutes to spare. :) Clever huh?
