but it really is fun answering the questions every Tuesday.

1. Are you a mom and if so how many kids do you have?

No. 

2. List 3 qualities that you love about your mom!

She's funny.

She gives great advice. {Even if I don't listen}

She's always been there for me.

3. What is your favorite thing your mother cooks?

Mama does cook much for us anymore. But when I was

little, I loved her chili. Yum-o!

4. What do you love about being a mom?

*Sigh*..I'm not a mom. 

5. What are your plans for Mother's day?

Don't have any. 

Ok, so this week's questions weren't the best for me. 

I'm not a Mom, so was only able to answer 3 of the Q's.
Maybe next week's Q's will pertain more to me. :)

1. Do you plant a garden or flowers, or neither?

I live in an apartment, but I have "window" plants. I just recently

planted some herbs and I have had an Ivy plant for almost a year.

2. Does it bother you to have your blinds or curtains 
open after dark so people can see in your house?

No. Not really. J and my Mama say I'm an exhibitionist. lol. 

3. Do you like to go camping?

Love it! Haven't been since before J deployed. I can't

wait to go when J gets a weekend off! :)

4. Do you have a laptop or a desk top computer?

We only have a laptop. There's really no point in a desk computer.

5. What time during the day do you have your most energy?

The afternoon. It really depends on what time I get up though.

1. Where do you usually have your thermostat set at in the winter?

At my Mama's house it is set at 68°F, but when we had our own apartment, we had it lower or higher depending on how much heat was rising from the apartment below us. Sometimes we had to turn the air on because it was so hot! 

2. What room do you tend to put off cleaning until last?

The bathroom. I hate cleaning it. If we're doing a thorough cleaning or expecting company, I clean the bathroom next to last. Haha. The bedroom is last then, since no one goes in there anyway.

3. Do you like to clean with music on or off?

On. It makes it easier to clean. Chores are so boring and music just makes it a little more enjoyable.

 
4. When do you take time to blog?

Whenever I want to right now, since I don't have a job. Usually right when I wake up, I read all the blogs I follow and then before I go to bed I will do scheduled posts for the next day or whatever.

5. How much time do you spend looking at other blogs a week?

Probably at least 5 hours a day, so about 35-40 hours a week. I should be getting paid to do this! Haha. 

I hope everyone is getting some warmer weather now. It's about time to do spring cleaning! Yay! I'm thinking of rearranging our bedroom, but want to hold off until we find out if J is getting one of the jobs he's been offered. I really hope he gets the job in Oxford, so we can move soon. Then I won't have to rearrange here at Mama's! :) 

Hoo Are You #32

Since I didn't go to bed Tuesday until after 9am, and didn't get up until after 2pm, I didn't see Night Owl Crafting's new Hoo Are You post. So I'm a little late with my post, but here it is anyway:

1. What did you get/give for Valentine's Day?
For my Hubby, I made a little book out of playing cards, 52 Things I Love About You and a stuffed Owl with a note that said: "Owl" always love you Valentine, will you be mine? I also made a stuffed owl for my Mama, sister, brother-in-law and pen-pal.




From my Hubby, I received: a stuffed-lion, lion box with chocolate-covered animal cookies, and a Nine West purse! :)

 

From my sister: small neon-blue puppy and bag of M&Ms! {I love M&Ms!

2. Do you have a vacation planned in the next couple of months or in the summer?
No, probably not going to have a vacation this summer since neither of us have jobs or a place to live...
{J's job interview didn't pan out. They guy hiring him told him that the company he was being hired for didn't want National Guard guys since they couldn't work every weekend. I'm not sure, but I think they are not allowed to do that. It's so not fair.}

3. What is one thing you do to pamper yourself?
Once a week, on Saturday night I take a bubble bath with candles and read until the water gets cold.

4. What sparks your interest to other people's blogs?
I like reading other blogs by people I have something in common with. Whether it be crafts, being an Army/military wife or writing about family. I enjoy reading funny blogs by Moms especially. I like to know what might be in my future when I have kids. LOL. Maybe I'll know how to handle everything.
 
5. What kind of a mood are you in today?
Not sure. I'm really lazy today since I didn't get very much sleep again last night. But I'm not grumpy or anything.

1. Are you married/in a relationship/single? For how long?
   I'm married and have been for 2 years, 7 months and 3 days.
(I have a ticker through daisypath.com :)
 *We dated for exactly 8 months before getting married. :)

2. What do you do for a living? Do you enjoy it?
Right now, I'm unemployed. And yes, I enjoy it...except for the no-money part...

3. In what state do you live? Where were you born and raised?
I still live where I grew up-- Springville, AL. Looks like I'm stuck here. lol.

4. Do you have children? If so, how many? If not, do you want them?
No. :( I want kids. J and I have discussed it and he wants 3. I want 4. :) He comes from a family of 4 kids and I come from a family with 3. It'll work out somehow. :)

5. Who is your favorite blogger to follow and why?
That is so unfair!!! It's really hard to choose just one, so I'll choose a few of my very favorites. They're all my favorites though, since I do read them every. single. day! J said, "Why do you have to read them everyday?". I said, "So I won't get behind on what's going on...". I'm nosy like that...anywho here are just four of the wonderful blogs I read:

This blog is written by a very courageous Mama of four

delightful children. Stephenie Nielson is truly an inspiration

to anyone going through anything! After surviving a near-fatal

plane crash, and being burned on 80% of her body,

she has undergone countless surgeries

and other medical procedures in order to get her body

and her life back to normal. Her story is one of courage

and determination. I truly enjoy reading about 

her trials, triumphs and many, many joys!

Hooo Are You?

"Hoo are You" is hosted by Leslie at Night Owl Crafting, whom I 

stumbled upon through another blog I follow, Cammo Style Love.

This looks like a fun meme that I will try my best to 

keep up with. :)

1. Do you wear glasses or contacts, if so for how long?

Yes, I've had glasses since I was 8. I wear them

most of the time, but sometimes I wear contacts. 
2. What was your favorite board game as a kid?

It's a toss up between Sorry and Thirteen Dead End Drive.
3. What is a word that you use all the time?

A word my Mama came up with actually, "inorite"...

It's the short way to write "I know, right?". LOL. 
4. What is your favorite day of the week?

Sunday
5. Did you graduate high school from the town you grew up in?

Yep. I went K-12 at the same school. I feel blessed that

I never had to be the new kid at school. I always

tried to make the new kids feel welcome too.
